Hugo Custom Hawgs

While I was at the Donnie Smith Bike Show in 2003, I ran into Jerry Eide of Hugo Custom Hawgs. The neat thing about talking to people is the way things happen and this is no exception. Jerry a carpenter by trade comes from a riding family. He picked up his first bike, a 1991 Heritage Softtail in '92 when he was 22 years old, and went to work adding this and that to it. Well like most of us he was hooked. After attending the Sturgis Rally in '94, Jerry decided to open up a shop and start building bikes. So in 1996 Jerry put down cash for the building that their in now 5546 N 145 st. Hugo MN. Through mutual friends Jerry met Joe Daggy, a bike and auto mechanic for over 25 years whose passion is building bikes. Jerry and Joe have been partnered up for the last 8 years and there seems to be no end in site. Jerry and his partner Joe Daggy put together some pretty nice scoots. Whether it be adding that certain piece or doing a complete ground up build, these guys will get the job done for ya. This cover bike is put together with a 2003 Rolling Thunder frame, S&S 107" pro polish, Performance Machine wheels, 240 rear tire, 5-speed Jims tranny, Samson exhaust, Independent gas tank, Fat-kats fenders, paint Xtreme Paint (Aaron), and many other custom accessories! So if your in the neighborhood stop in M-F 10am-7pm with sat calling for an appointment, and check out some of their work, or give them a call 651-429-4240
